My FR10 sleeve lesson says check the tray if a pocket is empty. The learners do check it, then call me because it is still empty. I covered the saved job well enough, but apparently left the actual decision in my own head. The interrupted example is worse.
I check whether the pocket was expected to be empty in that job. For an interrupted transfer I need the job history and the application owner if the sleeve's outcome is uncertain. None of that is in the lesson.
Use those as two distinct examples with the application owner. Our draft also omitted where an uncertain part should remain, so ask for the complete hold response, not just a contact name.
The owner has defined the expected-empty case and the uncertain-transfer hold. We have included the sleeve identity, where it remains and what information the support person needs.
Try it with a covering learner and let them explain what the screen and tray mean before choosing the next step. You can spot a confusing instruction without making them guess their way through a real recovery.
Walkthrough found the illustration showed an empty receiving pocket while the text described the source pocket. I had stared at it often enough to stop seeing the difference.
Repeated with the corrected source and receiving views. The covering learner explained the expected empty pocket and followed the uncertain hold route without my prompts. Revised lesson issued with the owner's response. Thanks, Ben, asking what I actually say was more useful than another start-button diagram.
