Can the rotated layer retain support without blocking finger withdrawal?

Our FR5 pallet proposal widens gaps for the gripper, leaving rotated carton ends unsupported. I need packaging and tooling to compare alternatives. Which views would make that review useful?

Layer overlay plus sections through the load-bearing parts of the filled cartons. Add the gripper during release and withdrawal. I'd want dispatch there too, since a workable stack still needs collecting

Thank you for the section suggestion. Our overlay hid the internal supports. Packaging now wants a non-rotated alternative compared, with the same tool shown.

Has dispatch seen the reduced-count option? Worth finding out whether it breaks an actual requirement or only the current spreadsheet before the designer spends time detailing it

They accept a lower count for comparison. Packaging has not approved either pattern. We have also asked the tool supplier to check withdrawal at the outside corners.

Who handles any packaging change if the comparison needs one? We once finished a layout review with no one assigned to get the revised cartons, which left the physical trial waiting
