Make that a section through the actual bearing regions. A top view can show overlapping rectangles and still hide that the part of the carton needing support has nothing underneath it.

It's in the carton specification, not inferred from a dispatch label. Integrator owns the layout. The internal packing and load conditions still need packaging's assessment for these positions.

Then ask packaging to state those conditions in its answer. A signature saying reviewed leaves too much for the next person to infer when another packing revision arrives.

And show earlier placements when tooling checks withdrawal. The first carton into an empty layer is not the hard evidence for the last one squeezed between its neighbours.

Include partial layers. Someone will inherit the order that doesn't end on a full pallet.

That's sensible. My bench suggestion was a way to examine the proposal, not evidence that a sheet or a different grip belongs in yours.

Keep the packing operator involved if alternatives do follow. A changed pattern may alter preparation or partial-pallet work even when support becomes easier to explain on paper.

And don't let the original carton count reach planning as approved while this is pending.
