Why is our different FR10 adapter being called the demonstrated one?

Our FR10 arrived with a thicker mounting adapter than the sample trial used. The seller calls it equivalent. Tooling is still uninstalled; the inspection pieces would sit further from the wrist.

Send the trial adapter reference and delivered reference together, with the complete tool view; ask the seller what changes in the assembly rather than whether the plate fits the holes.

Done. They confirmed the delivered reference is different. Their answer is still same mounting pattern, which wasn't the question.

Ask whether the demonstrated adapter can be supplied. Equivalent arguments get very long when nobody has answered that simple stock question.

They can supply it, apparently. Now they're asking us to accept the thicker one to avoid another shipment. No assessment of our inspection fixture with it.

I'd ask for the agreed adapter. You paid for an arrangement demonstrated with your samples; changing the reach into the fixture may create work neither party has priced. They can propose an alternative, but you do not have to call the proposal demonstrated.

The thicker one could still be workable, Daniel, but who would assess release at the fixture and the empty withdrawal with it? That is missing from the sales reply.

Could be. I'm saying Carla shouldn't acquire that assessment work just because shipping another plate is inconvenient for the seller.

Get the replacement reference and any return arrangement on the same agreement, so dispatch and receiving know which plate moves in each direction.

We've chosen the demonstrated reference. Seller agreed replacement and gave return instructions for the thicker plate. Purchasing checked those against the order. Waiting for dispatch, not fitting this one meanwhile.

Has dispatch supplied a parcel reference yet? Agreed replacement is not the same as a plate on its way.

Replacement received and its reference matches the trial list. Maintenance has it for the agreed assembly and handling check. The return is booked separately. At least the right adapter is now on our bench.
