the handover opens a routine we were never given

I am preparing the FR10 training station for another instructor. Our screenshots show a call to CheckHousing, but the supplied folder has no routine with that name. The integrator says it was renamed. We have two program exports and no note saying which goes with the pictures. I need a decent starting point for sorting this out.

Ask the integrator to identify the complete set currently installed. Matching screenshots to random exports is a long way round, especially if a rename is only one of several changes.

He identified export T7 as the installed robot set. The screenshot pack is T5. The missing call is named InspectHousing in T7.

Use T7 as the starting point, then have him walk through its calls with you. A name match still leaves the camera recipe and fixture assumptions to explain.

Have you actually got T7, Jo? Or an email saying T7 exists? Been caught by that distinction.

Also curious what happens when you follow the new notes. Can the next instructor find the expected PLC confirmations without knowing the program by heart?

We have T7. I opened the supplied export with the integrator. The next instructor found the routine but could not tell why it waits before inspection. No signal names in the notes yet.

That's your next page, then. What it's waiting for, where that comes from, and who to call when it doesn't arrive. Pictures can stay, just give them something useful to illustrate.

Keep the instructor in that walkthrough. Their question has already found a real omission; handing them a thicker folder without trying it together may just produce a heavier version of T5.
