Why is our extra FR10 pendant cable still only a promise?

FR10 received. Spare kit missing, including the extra pendant cable. Installed cable present. Thirty-seven days of next shipment replies. How do I get a useful answer?

Quote the accepted spare-kit contents and ask them to identify a parcel for those items. The installed cable does not fill that shortage, however often somebody sends you a photograph of it.

Already sent the contents message. They acknowledge the omitted kit. No parcel mentioned.

Ask for separate supply or a defined alternative. Another promise has no shortage of company in that email chain.

They offer to include it with my next order. I have no next order planned.

I'd tell them exactly that. You bought the kit already, and planning another purchase just to collect this one gives you another set of things to chase. Have they offered any separate shipping option?

No. I have asked for separate shipping without a new order.

Is the whole kit still marked outstanding in your receiving record?

Would you consider a credit, Aaron, if a suitable kit can actually be sourced elsewhere? It may be cheaper in staff time than keeping this correspondence employed forever.

Jo, yes, whole kit outstanding. Pavel, I'd compare a credit with a confirmed local replacement cost.

Check availability before accepting the credit. My workshop has enough solved invoices attached to unsolved equipment.

Also check the actual cable specification with support, Aaron. A cheaper cable with a familiar-looking plug could leave you with a spare nobody can approve for use.

No local availability confirmed. Keeping supply as the request for now.

Did the seller answer the separate-shipping request?

They say postage would cost extra. No amount or shipping date.

Even an unattractive offer needs a price. Otherwise there isn't anything to compare.

Ask them to state the proposal fully, including contents and cost, while reminding them the kit was included. Asking for the details does not mean agreeing to pay again.

I'd still press for the promised supply without extra charges. But yes, get the actual offer; arguing with an unspecified postage bill is hard work.

Thanks Emma. I'll keep that request explicit. Nothing accepted and no shipment confirmed.

Please update when they put a real offer or parcel reference against it.
