Can we make these Fairino FR10 proposals comparable? (packing tray loading)

We're estimating a cell using Fairino FR10 for packing tray loading with a boxed mounting kit in a compact dispatch workshop, with 10 planned. The initial robot price appeared manageable, but presentation fixtures, guarding and operator training have expanded the estimate. I'd like to compare the complete proposals while showing honestly which costs remain uncertain.

@ZaraBennett0743 Check who provides carton presentation in each proposal. If that responsibility differs, the headline totals may be pricing different portions of your cell.

I've found carton presentation included in one offer and assigned to us in the other. Once I account for our share, the apparent price difference reduces substantially.

@ZaraBennett0743 Bring the offers onto a common scope by listing each responsibility, its quoted cost and any unpriced allowance. Include work your team must supply so the resulting totals describe equivalent commitments.

@JoBarnes0592 I'm reluctant to invent figures for unpriced items. Would entering zero with an explanatory note be a reasonable way to keep them visible?

Keep unsupported costs explicitly unpriced and identify the total as incomplete. Where evidence supports an allowance, show its range and basis; a zero entry would obscure the missing commitment.

@JoBarnes0592 On my own cell estimate, acceptance attendance and recipe preparation were invisible until we listed our staff's tasks. Neither appeared on the supplier invoice.

I've checked our internal allowance and found both recipe preparation and acceptance attendance missing. Including them gives us a more complete view of the staff commitment.

Accounting for the presentation responsibility has improved comparability. The complete costs remain unfinished, so I can't yet identify a preferred offer from this estimate.

The presentation correction helps, even with the final comparison still unfinished.
