How should I challenge this FR10 vacuum demo with our taped cartons?

I've offered filled samples from both board types, including the ordinary taped seam, rather than ask them to repeat the smooth-box trick.

Also ask what happens when pickup is not established or the carton is unsuitable. A successful lift clip does not explain what the operator will be asked to do with the awkward carton.

Harish, yes, the supplier placed its own sample by hand with the smooth face under the cups; our cartons arrive with the seam position varying.

Then leave that variation in the sample set. We had a trial start avoiding a taped seam as though the seam had volunteered to move. Identifying the filled samples helps stop the next video becoming a different box.

Jack, agreed. There may be an intentional presentation step in a workable proposal, but its labour and limits need to be included rather than smuggled into sample preparation.

Alistair, is the receiving station shown in the proposal? I would want the release and carton support there considered before calling the transfer demonstrated.

Does that scope keep both board types, or is the supplier proposing to limit the application to one? Either answer changes your production comparison.

Both remain requested, Harish; the supplier wants to assess the samples before saying whether one needs a different approach, so we have no agreed scope limit yet.

Keep the unsuitable-carton route on the list when that answer arrives. A restricted scope can be workable, but the person feeding it needs a clear way to recognise and handle what falls outside it.
