What should I see before collecting this refurbished FR5?

The refurbished FR5 looks affordable for our block-transfer idea, but inspected is the only condition detail in the listing; what should the seller show before I spend money sending someone to collect it?

Ask for the inspection scope and results tied to the offered assembly first; a condition adjective is cheap, and collection tends not to be.

Report received: visual checks and an unloaded run, with the arm and controller identified, but the pendant and cables are described only as included accessories.

Have those accessories identified before treating the package as complete. Also ask what repair work was done, known faults, and whether an independent inspection of the offered set is permitted before collection.

They permit an independent inspection and have supplied the accessory identities; repair history says external covers replaced, without a record of why, so that question is still open.

Include the tooling and integration scope in your cost comparison; a useful condition report on the supplied equipment still leaves your block-handling arrangement to be designed and checked.

Would the inspector be allowed to review the replaced-cover areas and any related service history, Mia, or are they only offering another unloaded demonstration?

Seller says the inspector may assess the supplied assembly, but the earlier service history is unavailable; I've asked our prospective inspector what they can usefully conclude within that limit before booking the visit.

That is a sensible question for the person doing the inspection. Keep the missing history explicit in any buying decision rather than asking an unloaded run to supply it.

Did the inspector offer a defined scope, or advise leaving this one? Interested which way that limitation took the decision.
