I can't tell which pickup correction to undo

Before closing, it's already tilted a bit. I hadn't noticed that until I looked from the end.

That saves you chasing the fingers first, but it doesn't clear them. Were all three edits for the same pocket or did someone change a shared pickup offset?

Which end is high, and is it resting on the pocket bottom or caught on an edge? Hard to read a tilt from the top.

We had a moulding sit beautifully until its small side lug met a tray wall. The top view concealed the whole thing. Sara, a retained housing and that exact pocket would be more useful than a photograph of an empty tray.

Don't undo all three edits blind. Nobody knows what the first one was hiding.

An older program can still help explain what changed, Nadia. I agree it should not become the working version just because its date looks reassuring. Compare it with the present setup and give the person restoring the job the differences.

Omar, yes, there's an insert. The fitter found it wasn't down against its seat. The housing sits flat with it correctly seated; the displaced insert is being checked for damage.

Who owns the changeover sheet? The insert check needs to survive whoever is on shift next.

Better to find that now than write 'tray checked' and leave the next person staring at the outside edge. A photo showing that particular seat would help me.

And you're still left with three global edits. The insert repair won't automatically put the other pickups back where they belong.

Sara, keep the housing with the shiny mark until the fitter has matched the contact. It is easy to lose the useful sample during a tidy-up.

We've kept it, Kai. The fitter matched the mark to that wall. Controls has compared the offset edits and is reviewing the restored pickup against all pockets, not just the corner.

That gives the handover two separate changes to describe: the insert seating and the pickup restoration. Do not bury either in a single 'adjusted tray' entry.
