Our FR5 loads the pouches. I keep making new guides. Hard to admit which job is winning.

I kept a packing aid alive because I was the only one who could change it over, then called myself indispensable. Mostly I was unavailable for everything else. Can someone else prepare one of your normal orders without you?

Not yet. They can run it after I sort the bags.

How much of the order is finished by the time you have sorted them?

Nearly half the work, including tray preparation. I had only timed the loading bit.

That would change my answer. I'd try a whole order manually beside a whole order through this setup, including your guide work. You may still have a useful tool for repeat bags, but stop lending it your preparation time for free.

Thanks, Imran. Paused new guides. Comparing two repeat orders first, with another operator doing preparation.

Will that include clearing the bench for the next job?
