How do I compare our UR5e tool quotes with the adapter included?

Both quotes use the cast housing mass. Neither includes the adapter and long fingers in its suitability explanation. I can weigh a housing myself; what should I ask them to show for the complete transfer?

Do you have a complete assembly drawing from either supplier?

One shows the fingers and gripper. The other has a photograph. Adapter and hose fittings are absent from both, although they are in the proposed package.

Request the complete held assembly with mass and centre of gravity, plus the applicable load assessment for the intended motions and orientations; a bare-part comparison leaves too much of your tooling out.

Our tray comparison became useful once the underside was included, not just the nice top view. Same principle here: ask for what will actually be assembled, including the awkward connections.

Who supplies the missing adapter in each offer?

That ownership is worth answering, Caleb, because the integrator still needs one assembled assessment even if separate firms supply the adapter and gripper.

Have the complete drawings come back? I would not choose the shorter-looking package from a photograph while half its contents are absent.

Not complete yet, Hana. Oscar, each gripper supplier sources its adapter. One has now sent an adapter drawing, but neither has returned the combined load assessment Toby described.

Does the integrator have those missing assessments on its acceptance list?
