Our enclosure-cover insert bolts down backwards, and the recipe still displays the correct family. The fitted view hides its label.

Take both orientations and the neighbouring family insert to the fixture designer. You need the installed identity and orientation checked against the recipe, with a clear response to a mismatch.

Neighbouring insert fits too. Designer has both; the recipe name comes only from the operator's selection.

Then the name is just repeating the choice. Ask what physical feature prevents the wrong fit, and how any remaining identification check stays readable after installation.

Designer proposes asymmetric location and a visible insert reference. Prototype review and recipe mismatch cases still pending.

Include missing and unreadable identity in those cases. A blank field should not inherit the last insert's approval merely because the recipe hasn't changed.
