How do I stop our two FR5 inserts being treated as interchangeable?

I laid out the two connector-housing inserts for our proposed FR5 station and the fitter swapped them without noticing. Both go into the base, and both can be turned round. The names on the storage boxes are different. Useful when they're in the boxes, less useful once we've fitted one. What should I put into the changeover review?

Start with the fitted insert, not its box. Ask the designer which wrong combinations can be prevented mechanically, then review how the installed identity and orientation will be checked against the recipe. I'd take both inserts to that discussion.

Took both in. The drawing review had only covered the first family, which explains the confidence. Designer is now comparing both and the spare inserts; no proposed change yet.

Include a recipe left over from the other family when they plan the checks. A correct physical changeover can still leave the wrong selection on screen.
