Our FR10 pallet pattern fits in top view, but the carton supplier has specified support areas near the ends of each packed box. Some rotated positions put those areas over gaps. I want a section that shows the problem clearly for packaging and tooling before anyone changes the pattern.
Ask dispatch how they take away the completed load as well, so any alternative orientation can be reviewed against their actual access and label-reading needs. Those can be easy to lose while everyone studies the box edges.
Has packaging actually reviewed the new section? I'd want their answer before people start adding interlayers because they've heard those fix pallet problems. Extra material also needs handling.
I know, Liam. I'm saying don't jump there before packaging answers. Didn't mean Aisha had proposed them. We had that extra job appear in a layout almost by magic.
Packaging has reviewed the section and requested a different upper-layer arrangement. No interlayer proposal. Tooling is checking the alternative with dispatch's label face retained; acceptance remains open.
