Why is my complete FR5 purchase still an arm in a crate?

Arm received. Controller and teach pendant cable absent. I bought the complete FR5 package from an unnamed seller in China for transferring lightweight housings in our prototype room, and kept all the packing. For 37 days they've said the missing items shipped separately, without a second reference. I can't plan setup around that sentence.

Does the packing list in your crate describe just the arm or the whole package?

The list describes the full package. Our arrival photographs show what was actually in the crate, so I've kept the two together. Nothing on the paperwork explains a separate shipment.

Then ask them to reconcile that list with their split-shipment claim, including where the other parcel went and who took custody. A repeat of the arm tracking won't do that.

They finally supplied a different reference. It has an old delivery entry, but the destination shown is the consolidator, not our workshop. I've asked the consolidator to trace it using that reference and the order details.

Does the new reference identify the controller parcel's contents, or have you only got a tracking screenshot?

Rebecca's distinction matters. Before asking anyone to move a package, can the seller link the parcel markings and packing record to the items missing from your order? Otherwise the trace may confidently locate something else.

And did your consolidator confirm that delivery entry, rather than the seller telling you they received it?

Only a screenshot so far, Rebecca. Luca, the consolidator hasn't confirmed receipt yet. I shouldn't have written that as though we knew the package was there; it's the destination on the tracking entry.

Any answer from their warehouse since then? Interested whether the reference gets you beyond the sales desk this time.

Warehouse replied: they have an unallocated parcel with matching markings. They sent photographs, and the seller has now linked those markings to a controller-and-cable packing record for our order.

That is a useful identification chain. Has the consolidator agreed the onward delivery arrangement, including any disputed handling cost, or is that still being negotiated?

Keep the workshop setup date provisional until the missing equipment is received and checked. Located isn't ready to install.

Handling cost and onward collection are still being sorted, Leo. At least there is a physical parcel and a named warehouse contact now. Thanks, Luca, asking for their own confirmation got me out of arguing with the seller's screenshot.

Please keep the receiving check against the original complete order when it gets there; the warehouse trace only settles where this parcel was.
