Why does our UR5e handover still need me at every empty pocket?

I taught startup for our spacer sorting job and apparently taught call Robin for everything else. Empty pocket, interrupted run, same result. What should I put into the recovery walkthrough first?

Use one actual interruption and ask the operators what they know about the part, tray and tool. Then have the responsible controls person define the permitted recovery and when they need help. Don't begin with another perfect-tray demonstration.

We used an empty-pocket example on the training screen. Operators knew which pocket was missing but not whether the job had skipped it or stopped before advancing. Our message doesn't say.

That is a useful finding. Get the message tied to the actual sequence state and keep uncertain cases explicit. A more readable guess would still be a guess.

Controls is revising that wording and the recovery draft. Thanks Leo; asking what they knew got a better answer than asking whether they'd understood my training. Interrupted placement is still an open case.

Include someone who missed the first walkthrough when you review the revision. The original group now knows more than the screen tells them.
