Our FR5 pallet overlay puts the carton bearing ends over empty space

I've put the sealed carton's bearing ends on the FR5 layer overlay, and the rotated row misses support at both ends; before we pay for another layout, I want packaging and tooling to decide whether this one is worth developing.

Have packaging seen a section as well as the overlay?

Yes, they rejected those positions on the section, and the integrator is costing a straight pattern using the same packed carton.

Is dispatch involved in that comparison? A supported alternative may be worth choosing with a lower carton count, but its ordinary order endings and collection work belong in the decision.

My own pattern review needed the partial-layer section too. The final full layer hid the unsupported placement that came earlier; do not leave that page until the physical trial

And keep the filled carton in the check, not an empty display box.

Caleb and Sarah, the joint review now covers those placements with the filled carton; Chloe, dispatch supplied its order list and is checking the extra pallet exchanges.

Does the tool clear the last carton on those short orders?

It does in the accepted sequence, and dispatch accepted the additional exchanges with the available staging space; the physical trial is booked against that complete job.

That is a much clearer trial scope. I would have the ordinary dispatch person involved rather than a demonstrator supplying the exchange work without anyone timing or explaining it.

Dispatch and its cover operator completed the agreed trial orders, including the short finishes and pallet exchanges; packaging checked support and carton condition, and the integrator checked the handling sequence, so we have selected the straight arrangement.

Good to hear the extra exchanges survived contact with dispatch
