Why approve our FR5 turned layer while its bearing edges span gaps?

Layer beneath is included. Packaging marked the bearing edges; tooling drew channels through those areas.

Then neither half is finished. Ask whether the channels can move or the pattern must change, with both people looking at the actual packed construction.

Incoming orientation is fixed by the packing bench. Any extra turn would be new work, not already included.

A straight-layer option could be worth comparing if packaging accepts its support. Keep its actual count and pallet changes in the estimate. You do not need to preserve the alternating pattern merely because it was the first drawing supplied.

What happens on short orders? Your actual last layer belongs in that review, not just a stack of full ones.

Does the proposal preserve that bay and its access, Dinesh, or has the robot's new staging area quietly occupied it?

Bay preserved on the layout. Extra full-pallet staging still needs a space check. No pattern selected yet.

That is the comparison I'd give purchasing: support review, full tool sequence, extra pallet exchanges and that unresolved staging space. The straight option may be simpler without being free to accommodate.
