Have the integrator own the combined review, with maintenance supplying the measured machine opening and door positions and tooling supplying the complete loaded assembly. On our review, separate sensible drawings never quite described the same proposed installation.
Ask who designs the adapter and when its proposed geometry will be available. The clearance check needs the fittings and finger-open shape too, not just enough outline to place the wrist.
We found a problem late because the setter's fixture change needed more space than the normal transfer. Put that access on the same review before the base gets priced, even if it does not decide the robot motion.
