The FR10 I ordered from a seller in China is here. Its gripper mounting adapter differs from the one used in our agreed plastic-sample tray trial. Eleven days asking about it, and the answer remains that the replacement kit is equivalent.
I have paused the tooling review before installation. I need the handover to explain what changed, not leave our installer to infer that the original trial covers this assembly.
The trial has an adapter drawing reference in the confirmation. The delivered part has a different reference and a visibly longer stand-off. I sent both back together, asking for the changed assembly dimensions and sample handling evidence.
The stand-off gives their engineer something concrete to address. I'd also want them to say which original trial conclusions they still rely on (and why), because a new film can show movement while leaving release into your actual tray unexplained.
Their engineer has confirmed the longer stand-off and withdrawn the blanket equivalence statement. We have the revised assembly drawing now. The sample trial needs repeating with it; installation is still paused. At least the installer no longer has two conflicting descriptions of what arrived.
