Can't choose the FR5 position without its gripper

Our steel-blank exchange sketch omits the gripper body and open machine door. What should the designer return before we choose a base position?

The complete proposed tool holding the blank, through approach, transfer and withdrawal. Include the door in its operating position and the fixture around it. Ask for the setter's access too... otherwise a convenient base position can make a routine changeover a nuisance.

Tool body isn't final. Should we postpone comparing positions?

Not necessarily. A stated provisional envelope can eliminate obvious conflicts. Just keep its assumptions attached to the comparison and repeat the relevant checks with the actual tool definition before treating a position as established.

Asked for that provisional comparison, including changeover access. No base order from the bare-arm sketch
