I want to inspect the setup first. Our rigid spacer grips diagonally now, after several point changes. The tray seems fixed, but I have only looked from above.
3 replies Look at the spacer while it is still seated, then at first jaw contact. That may separate a crooked seat from the tool pushing it crooked.
Side view shows one end already raised in the pocket. We have not inspected the pocket floor yet. I had missed that from above.
Start at that pocket, then. And compare another identified spacer in it, so you do not assume the pocket is wrong when the part could differ.
