I took an accepted polished cover to the proposed FR10 camera station and it immediately became the example of a long scratch. Reseating moves the bright line. I can find a small rub on the metal, but not the feature they labelled. How should we rebuild these references without dismissing genuine surface defects?
Identify the cover and have quality judge the actual rub under the agreed viewing method. Then map that feature to the camera images. Don't let a wrong long-line label make the whole cover automatically good or bad.
