I'm reviewing records for an FR10 bracket proposal. How do I separate fit-up, locating and released acceptance before inheriting correction work?

Does the final acceptance record come before or after that correction?

After it. I have no dimension recorded between release and correction, only the failure note.

That limits what the final result tells you. Ask the original process owner what was corrected and how the released assembly was supported for measurement. I would not assume the restraint check uses the drawing's acceptance method.

Are there untouched samples left? They might help identify the recorded condition.

Only if their identity and process stage are known, Sarah. A loose bracket from the shelf could already have been corrected. Useful to ask, but I would keep an unidentified sample out of any firm comparison.

No traceable untouched samples found. Process owner hasn't answered yet. I cannot price correction out of the proposal.
