How do I count 136 accepted housings without counting every FR5 retry?

Our FR5 acceptance dashboard looks almost finished because it adds repeat inspections after restart. We planned 136 housings, and a failed check can be followed by a reviewed retry. I want an honest accepted-item total without erasing those failures. What should determine the count?

What identifies one physical housing through its attempts? If that identity is missing, changing the counting formula will only give a neater guess.

We have an item reference on each attempt. The display currently increments for results, though, so a retry can add another unit. The records are better than the counter.

Then keep the attempt records and derive the production total from item-level acceptance. I would show the operator an item's history without making every line look like another housing completed.

Jasper, who decides which retry result establishes acceptance? Nina said reviewed retry, so the rule may need that review outcome as well as the machine result.

Yes, quality needs to define that. I was too quick to say acceptance as if a successful machine result necessarily supplied the whole decision.

Quality has supplied that rule. Our offline report now shows one accepted housing after its failed check and reviewed retry. Both attempts remain visible, which was the bit I didn't want to lose.

Include the same result delivered twice after restart. That is one attempt observed again, not another retry and certainly not another housing.

Added to the test list, along with restarting after the acceptance record is saved. The new report isn't in operational use yet. Thanks, Fiona; I'd covered a retry but missed the duplicate delivery.

Have those cases passed now? Also interested whether the shift can find the review decision from the item view, rather than only seeing a corrected grand total.
