I've got a lovely clear video of our FR5 doing nothing. Unfortunately the fixture had been moved for a closer look before I filmed it, so support is asking whether the connector was in that position when it stopped. I can't honestly say.
Original job and event history are saved. The operator remembers the first wait message, not every lamp. What is worth recovering from that, before we collect another film with the important bit missing?
Write down what moved and when, then ask controls to follow the original event before that intervention. The close-up can show the later condition, but it shouldn't become a photograph of how the stop began.
Fixture was moved after the wait. I've labelled the clip as that later condition. Controls has the original event interval and the unchanged job copy; no one is using the video position as the original seat now.
Fixture confirmation lost. The saved history agrees with the operator. It shows confirmation present earlier in the same attempt, then absent before the wait. Doesn't show what physically changed.
Imran, maintenance has identified the confirmation source and is comparing the fitted arrangement with the drawing. Chloe, our controls contact is coordinating that with support. We've stopped calling it connector missing just because that's what the final close-up shows.
That's the bit I'd put at the top of the ticket. Not another dramatic close-up, just the actual lost confirmation and the fact that your later inspection changed the scene. Support can waste ages investigating the picture you wish you'd taken.
The confirmation target bracket had movement at its mounting. Maintenance documented it and the fixture designer has specified restoring the mounting to its intended arrangement. That fits the lost input, but the return check hasn't happened yet.
Maintenance and controls did the combined return check with the loader. Correctly seated fixture retained confirmation through the assessed sequence; the agreed unavailable case produced the expected wait. No more mounting movement found. We're keeping the changed-after-stop video with that explanation, not deleting the embarrassment.
Yes. Designer and maintenance defined the check and when to hand it over to maintenance. Loader can see the relevant condition from the working side. No instruction to fiddle with the mounting during a job.
Has support closed this particular loss-of-confirmation fault now, Beth? I'd like to know the repair result made it back into their notes rather than leaving the moved-fixture clip as the last thing they saw.
Closed against the mounting finding and combined check. Thanks Priya. Their final note names the original lost input and separates our later intervention, so at least the next person won't start by diagnosing my close-up.
