I need to revise our spacer-loading proposal before asking my colleague to support it. I priced the FR10 and gripper but left fixture development, operator preparation and cover training vague. What should a small pilot measure to give us a fair decision on the complete job?
Only the loading step. The operator also sorts the spacers and changes the nest, which I treated as existing work without checking whether the proposal adds more of it.
My colleague and the operator helped map that sequence. The pilot now includes representative parts, fixture cost, preparation and cover training. We still need the supplier's revised scope before setting a budget.
