Fairino FR10: How do I trace one missing crate in consolidated freight?

Our Fairino FR10 order from an unnamed seller in China travelled in consolidated freight. The arm crate is here, but the separately identified crate for the teach pendant package isn't. The carrier page says delivered, and our receipt has confusing package counts. After 34 days of queries, I still have no trace of the missing crate by its identifier.

@GraceBell0668 Does your packing list assign the teach pendant package to its own crate number? Compare that number with your receiving log and the labels you photographed.

It does. I've photographed the arm crate label, and our receiving log has no entry for the other identifier. The receipt only references the master consignment.

@GraceBell0668 Ask the agent to reconcile your received inventory with package-level loading and delivery records for the missing identifier. The overall consignment status doesn't answer that individual trace request.

Should I start with the local carrier or the freight agent? I don't fancy repeating the whole story to everyone again.

Ask the agent coordinating your consignment to own the trace and obtain the local records. Keep your existing local contact included where useful.

@BrunoBrooks0800 The local delivery manifest should show whether the missing crate reached your workshop. Ask the agent to get that document.

@NathanChen1156 A manifest may describe intended loading without confirming receipt at the workshop. Establishing delivery needs a record of the relevant physical event for that crate.

You're right that I treated the manifest as stronger evidence than it may be. Use it to investigate the planned movement and seek a separate crate-level record of actual handover or delivery.

Can an overall delivered status exist without separately confirming receipt of each crate?

@LucaBarnes0526 In this case, the receipt identifies the master consignment. Ask what the carrier's status covers instead of assuming it proves every crate arrived.

The agent has confirmed its delivered message is about the overall consignment. It still hasn't supplied a location or scan for our missing identifier.

Use their clarification in your trace request. A status explicitly covering the overall consignment leaves the individual crate question unresolved.

@DavidBaker0519 The missing crate has reached our workshop. I've checked its identifier and the contents assigned to the teach pendant package, so our crate inventory now matches the packing list.

That closes the actual crate shortage, with both identity and contents checked.
