Ask the agent to reconcile your received inventory with package-level loading and delivery records for the missing identifier. The overall consignment status doesn't answer that individual trace request.

You're right that I treated the manifest as stronger evidence than it may be. Use it to investigate the planned movement and seek a separate crate-level record of actual handover or delivery.

Then quote that scope back to them. Their answer about the whole load doesn't answer your question about this crate.

I've checked our receiving area and storage with the people who handled the delivery. We only have the arm crate; the other identifier isn't on any received label.

Add the local receiving and storage check to your request. That accounts for your end of the trace and directs attention to the earlier crate handovers.
