one delivered pallet, one missing crate

Our FR10 arm crate arrived in consolidated freight. Separately marked mounting-kit crate didn't. Receipt says one pallet, packing list says two crates, carrier page says delivered. I'd like somebody to look for the missing crate instead of counting the pallet again

Does the receipt show either crate mark, or just the pallet count?

Just pallet count. Driver's photo shows the arm crate from one side. Can't see whether anything else was strapped behind it

Can goods-in say what was on it before the straps came off?

They recorded one crate, matching the arm mark. No second crate in their unpacking photos. I've sent that alongside the missing kit mark

Ask the forwarder to trace that missing mark through the consolidation records. The delivered pallet count does not tell you where the separately identified crate went.

Who is handling the trace now?

Our college had two packages counted as one pallet at one depot and separately at the next. We kept arguing about the count until someone compared the actual crate labels. Ask for the loading and split records by mark, not a fresh copy of the delivered page.

Forwarder's depot contact has it. They've found a photo with both marks before consolidation, so now they're looking at the split rather than our receiving desk

Does that photo clearly show your missing mark, rather than another similar crate? We had several identical wooden boxes in one delivery area.

Can the depot send the next scan for that exact mark?

Mark is readable. Next scan puts it in the depot's hold area after the pallet was split. They haven't found it physically yet, but at least the search has an address

Ask them to confirm when somebody has actually checked that hold area. A scan is a useful trail, but we once had a crate moved again without the scan following it.

Keep installation planning tied to a confirmed recovery and delivery arrangement. You can report the depot scan as progress without promising an arrival date yet.

They found the crate and sent a current label photo. Delivery slot requested, not booked. I've been quite careful about that wording in the workshop update

Has the slot been confirmed since that request? Once it arrives, check the contents against the missing-kit list before closing the shortage.

Still waiting on confirmation. The kit list is with goods-in ready for the check. No arrival to report yet
