Fairino FR5: Does the master shipment status cover every crate?

Our Fairino FR5 order from an unnamed seller in China travelled in consolidated freight. The arm crate is here, but the separately identified crate for the tooling kit isn't. The carrier page says delivered, and our receipt has confusing package counts. After 22 days of queries, I still have no trace of the missing crate by its identifier.

@AlexBrown0907 Does your packing list assign the tooling kit to its own crate number? Compare that number with your receiving log and the labels you photographed.

It does. I've photographed the arm crate label, and our receiving log has no entry for the other identifier. The receipt only references the master consignment.

Ask the agent to reconcile your received inventory with package-level loading and delivery records for the missing identifier. The overall consignment status doesn't answer that individual trace request.

Which contact should lead this trace, the freight agent or local delivery carrier? Repeating the full account across several conversations hasn't been helpful.

Request that the coordinating freight agent manage the trace and collect the local delivery information. Your established local contact can remain involved without leaving you to coordinate every record yourself.

The local delivery manifest should show whether the missing crate reached your workshop. Ask the agent to get that document.

@ImranArcher0392 A manifest may describe intended loading without confirming receipt at the workshop. Establishing delivery needs a record of the relevant physical event for that crate.

You're right that I treated the manifest as stronger evidence than it may be. Use it to investigate the planned movement and seek a separate crate-level record of actual handover or delivery.

Can an overall delivered status exist without separately confirming receipt of each crate?

@FionaAllen0325 The receipt here refers to the master consignment, so the scope of the delivered status needs clarification. It shouldn't automatically be treated as proof for each individual crate.

The agent has confirmed its delivered message is about the overall consignment. It still hasn't supplied a location or scan for our missing identifier.

Then quote that scope back to them. Their answer about the whole load doesn't answer your question about this crate.

@ImranArcher0392 In a different shipment of mine, the paperwork mixed counts of pallets and crates. Labelling the units explicitly made it possible to compare the records properly.

@NaomiBrown0941 Could that explain our confusing receipt without explaining the missing crate?

A unit clarification might resolve the count discrepancy without locating the crate. Ask how the receipt counts packages and continue tracing the missing identifier separately.

Right. I don't want an arithmetic correction becoming a pretend delivery. I'll ask what each count actually counts.

@AlexBrown0907 Has the possibility of the crate being received elsewhere within your workshop been checked?

I've checked our receiving area and storage with the people who handled the delivery. We only have the arm crate; the other identifier isn't on any received label.

I've narrowed the trace request to the missing crate identifier and our received inventory. The crate is still absent despite the master delivered status.

The identifier-based request addresses the specific gap that the overall delivery status leaves open.
