Our FR10 has its working tool cable, but the separately promised spare is still missing and the seller keeps referring me to the delivered robot shipment.

Ask about the extra cable by its own order line. Sounds like someone keeps answering the easier question of whether the robot arrived.

Sent the spare-kit line and cable reference; they acknowledge it is owed, then repeat next shipment.

Is the cable actually available to pack?

Unknown; I have asked whether it is in stock, rather than when their next shipment leaves.

That should help, and I'd ask them to say whether the planned cable is the agreed reference rather than a substitute they haven't told you about

Don't start a compatibility argument before they've proposed a different cable, though. First get a straight answer about the one they owe you.

I meant confirm the reference in their answer, not invent a substitution dispute; the description in our stores folder has drifted before

They say the agreed cable is not in stock and their source has not confirmed availability; maintenance now has that answer instead of next shipment.

Will they offer a credit if you can source the correctly identified spare elsewhere?

Worth pricing, but include delivery and any needed compatibility check before you accept a number. A credit that leaves you unable to buy the spare isn't much of a finish.
