I have asked for the complete tool geometry this time. Both FR10 suppliers still justify suitability using only the motor housing's mass. Their fingers, adapters and fittings are not weightless, and the proposed grip positions differ. I want the whole loaded assembly assessed before buying either proposal.
Request the complete loaded mass, centre of gravity and inertia information tied to each assembly drawing and intended motion, then have the responsible assessor compare those actual proposals rather than the housing figure alone.
Requested from both. One supplier admits its note used a standard short-finger arrangement, not our extended fingers. It is revising the assessment. The other has not supplied the loaded information yet; neither is selected.
