FR10 blank-length sheet with the seating measurements missing

Our setter has handed me a sheet of exposed lengths from hand-loaded aluminium blanks for the FR10 proposal. There's a spread, but no total blank lengths alongside it. He remembers checking the stop; the other setter remembers a different batch of stock. Both could be right, which isn't helping. I can still identify the blanks. What's the smallest useful comparison before this turns into a meeting about which person loads things properly? Automatic loading hasn't been agreed.

Measure those blanks first, including the end that meets the stop. Keep each result paired with its exposed length.

Found a length difference between the two stock batches. Not enough to explain all the exposed-length spread, though. One contact end also has a rough patch.

Does the setter have an agreed seating check for these particular blanks, since I would not know whether that rough patch matters just from its appearance?

Ask tooling to inspect that contact before deciding it needs alteration.

Tooling found raised material at the contact end and the setter repeated the comparison after their correction. That blank now seats consistently. The batch length difference is still there, as expected; we've added both dimensions to the sheet instead of treating exposed length as a verdict on the loader.

Can the covering setter tell which blank batch the new sheet applies to? Worth putting the stock reference beside those dimensions, especially if both batches are still on the rack.
