I cannot match our delivered FR5 tool connections to its guide

Our FR5 external labels match the order, but the supplied tool-interface connections do not match the guide. I requested applicable documentation 49 days ago. Still unpowered for our empty-fixture loading setup. How do I get a usable answer tied to the supplied hardware, not another general manual?

Show the interface and its identifiers beside the specific guide page, then ask them to identify the applicable assembly and document revision rather than simply asking for the newest manual

What differs in the visible connections? I would describe the observed layout without assigning pin functions from the old drawing.

The guide shows two connections where our interface has one larger connector and a blanked position. I have photographs without opening anything. No pin function assumed. The order labels do not identify that interface revision.

That is enough to explain the mismatch without guessing compatibility; I would want the supplier to relate the fitted interface to its assembly drawing as well as the robot's order description.

Does the interface itself have a readable part label, perhaps separate from the robot's main plate?

And keep the original guide. A replacement document should have an identifiable reason for replacing it.

Name who is chasing the answer locally too, or the stopped setup will acquire three correspondents and no owner

Hazel, there is a separate label but the photograph does not show its whole suffix. I'll get a clearer external view. Leah Brown, I am the local contact and have put all replies into one ticket.

Bruno, keep the old guide available for comparison but make the setup team aware it is not confirmed applicable. People use whichever PDF opens first when the useful answer is taking this long.

Can the seller identify who will verify the connection instructions against the actual supplied interface before your installer uses them?

Aisha, did they acknowledge the hardware difference, or only receive the photographs? That would change what I ask in the next message.

Leah Brooks, only receipt so far. Felix, no verifier named. The clearer label photo is now sent with the guide page. Thank you David for narrowing the request to the assembly; my earlier emails kept saying manual.

You're welcome, and the full suffix should give them something concrete to answer; it still needs their explanation, not our guess from how the connector looks

John's point is worth acting on now. Mark the current guide's applicability as unresolved in the setup pack. Retaining it as evidence does not make it an instruction to connect the unit.

I would also ask whether the proposed documentation covers the supplied cable assembly, since identifying the interface alone may leave the installer comparing a different cable end with a correct drawing.

Added the supplied cable identifiers to the question, Naomi. The old guide is marked unconfirmed in our setup pack. We still have no explanation for the different connection layout and no applicable wiring instructions.

Please report which revision they eventually identify. A document arriving will be progress; a document matching this hardware is the part I want to hear about.
