Bracket release measurements missing from the handover

I am sorting the old gusseted bracket records before our UR5e welding plan goes further. Parts apparently looked aligned in the fixture, then failed after release. Apparently is doing too much work here. I need the actual check explained before somebody trains operators to repeat an undocumented correction.

Can you link a restrained reading and a released reading to the same bracket, with the measurement supports identified?

No paired readings. I have a batch sheet saying aligned and a final inspection sheet with dimensions, but no part numbers connecting them. The support sketch is also absent.

Then I would leave the amount of movement unknown; actually, even the word movement assumes those two checks used comparable references.

I inherited a teaching fixture with a little packing piece nobody mentioned in the lesson notes, and the technician recognised it immediately when I showed him the old photographs.

Hana, was the packing piece supporting the bracket for measurement or changing how it sat for welding?

It supported ours on the inspection bench, which is why the photograph of the welding fixture alone had been no help.

I found photographs of our fixture but none of the inspection bench. I have asked the former inspector about that missing setup. The UR5e handover still has a blank there (a deliberate blank now).

Who is meant to own that blank, Hassan? I'd want a name before the training date turns it into an operator's problem.
