Mina, yes, provided redesign includes whoever prepares and replenishes the tray. Otherwise we're comparing two robots and quietly donating a person to one of them.

The workshop tray isn't fixed. We can change it, but the sleeves arrive loose and somebody has to load whichever tray we choose. I hadn't included that time in my video notes.

Then I would ask each supplier to price its proposed working arrangement, alongside a common handling example. You might prefer a changed tray, but it should be a visible process choice with preparation included

Rachel, your donated-person point caught me. I had been treating the prepared tray as the starting material. I'll compare from loose sleeves through completed transfer, with the same batch quantity.

Leave recovery visible too. A tray that saves normal handling time may still be a pain to identify and reseat after an interrupted run.

One supplier has offered a loading example with our sleeves and its tray; the other is still considering the scope. Neither new run has happened. The old clips are now examples of their own setups, not a league table.
