Quality rejected our retained scratched faceplate and accepted the bright-streak example. The FR5 camera proposal still barely shows the real scratch.

Compare the candidate lighting and presentation using both identified plates, keeping the confirmed scratch region and the accepted bright streak visible in the full captures.

One candidate removes the bright streak but hides the scratch almost completely. I've kept that failed comparison.

Does the holder cover any part of the scratch?

No. Whole scratch region is exposed. Its contrast changes with the light position.

Give the imaging engineer those paired captures and the physical plate; the next comparison needs to improve the real defect's visibility without losing the accepted finish examples.

They have both plates and the holder. No threshold selected; we're comparing another lighting arrangement.

Will the regular loader repeat the chosen presentation too?
