the FR5 labels match, the pendant connection guide does not

Three days asking which guide belongs to our delivered FR5. Outside labels match the order, but the pendant connector assembly doesn't match the supplied instructions. Empty-fixture loading will have to wait; setup stays unpowered. What should a useful mismatch report show?

Keep it unpowered and do not trial-fit or adapt connections from an inapplicable illustration; identify the supplied assembly for the responsible installer first.

Which visible features differ from the guide? Record the page and revision with exterior photographs, so the seller can answer a specific mismatch rather than resend a general manual.

Include cable-end markings already visible without opening anything. Matching outer equipment labels does not identify every supplied cable or assembly.

And keep the original guide in the report, not just the latest replacement they send, because the installer needs to know what instruction caused the hold.

The guide shows a connection panel our pendant assembly hasn't got. I've photographed the exterior and supplied cable markings beside the referenced page. No connections changed, no covers opened.

Ask for a technical applicability answer tied to those items. A different PDF may still describe a different supplied arrangement; it needs to answer why yours looks different.

Who is coordinating with your installer? If sales answers one person and the guide goes to another, the installation hold can outlive the actual clarification.

Or end too soon, Lewis; someone may hear 'new guide received' and assume that means checked. Keep receipt and installer review separate.

One shared correspondence record with an identified installer would help both risks, with the unresolved connection question kept at the top.

Has the seller identified the supplied pendant assembly yet, rather than only confirming the arm label?

Not yet. They sent another general FR5 manual. Our installer is on the correspondence now and has marked the same panel mismatch in that one too.

Amara Carter, agreed; I meant shorten the route to the reviewer, not let a delivery notification release the work. The installer's marked comparison is the useful next answer here.

Then return the exact outstanding question with the visible assembly references. There is no reason to broaden this into a search for possible adapters yet.

Correct, a missing panel in the instructions is not evidence that Oliver should add a panel to the machine.

Technical contact now identifies our supplied assembly and confirms the general manual is inapplicable to its connection layout. Applicable instructions are promised, not received. I've removed both general guides from the installer's working pack while keeping them in the issue record.

That settles why the guides failed, but the connection work still waits for the applicable information and installer review. Keep the hold visible until those happen.
