the fr10 collector receipt never reached the warehouse search

The seller says our FR10 and gripper mounting kit were handed over, while the agent keeps searching a different warehouse reference; I have a collector receipt now, but no confirmed current location, so what should the two contacts reconcile next?

Match the crate marking and actual recipient on that receipt to the agent's intake search. Keep the mounting-kit contents with the same package identity. A collector's receipt may establish one handover without telling you where the crate is now.

The collector receipt shows our crate marking and a receiving business, but the agent has only quoted its booking number in the warehouse enquiry so far.

Has the named receiving business been asked directly?

Not yet; I have asked the agent to include that business and the crate marking, rather than repeat the booking-number search.

Our receiving desk once had the collector's reference on its paper note and a different one in the portal; nobody was searching the bit actually written on the pallet. Worth giving them the marking itself.

We nearly treated a booking match as a located package on one job. The useful reply eventually named the actual marked crate and where staff had checked it. I would ask for that physical confirmation here, even if the two numbers finally get linked in their system.

Keep your receiving and setup plan provisional while that check happens, Kai; an identified earlier handover is useful progress without being an onward-delivery commitment.

I'd also stop sending everyone the entire buying history. Ours got quicker when each contact had one answerable question about the handover they owned. Still an irritating amount of work, but at least nobody could reply to the easy unrelated paragraph.

Put the crate marking in the message heading too. Attachments get forwarded without the explanation, and then the next person is back to searching the wrong number. One visible identity is more useful than another giant email chain.

Warehouse staff have physically located the marked crate under the collector's intake reference and supplied its holding location; the agent has linked that reference to our booking, so the location question finally has an answer.

Does the identified packing record cover the mounting kit as well as the arm package? Locating the crate should not quietly close a separate contents uncertainty.

The packing record names the mounting kit in that crate; I will keep that as the expected content until our receiving check, rather than say we have physically checked it already.

Any onward collection yet?

Onward collection is booked, not completed; the warehouse and carrier are now using the linked crate reference on the same instruction.

That should make the receiving note easier at your end. I'd have someone ready to compare the actual marks and contents when it lands, not just tick delivered on the master booking and recreate the original confusion locally.

Are the receiving people expecting one crate with the kit inside, Kai? Easy detail to lose after so much talk about two references.

Yes, Jo, one identified crate with the listed kit inside; the carrier has now recorded physical collection against that crate, and our receiving team has the expected contents list.

That keeps the two references from becoming two expected deliveries; let the receiving check provide the final contents answer rather than the booking history.

Received and unpacked: the FR10 package and listed mounting-kit contents are accounted for, with the crate marks matched; receiving has closed the location and shortage enquiry, while installation remains a separate job.
