Universal Robots UR5e: Which identifiers help support find the right manual?

Our Universal Robots UR5e arrived from an unnamed seller in China with external labels matching the order. The guide shows different connections around the controller connection panel. I asked for the applicable manual 5 days ago without a useful reply. We bought it for loading empty assembly fixtures, and I've kept the setup unpowered.

Does your support message include the arm and controller identifiers, a photo of the connections, and the relevant manual page? Those would make the mismatch easier to locate.

I've the arm and controller identifiers plus a photo of the controller connection panel. The drawing doesn't match, and the manual filename gives no controller configuration.

@ImranCarter1001 Send that material together and ask which document applies to your exact configuration. Leave the setup unpowered until the connection question is answered.

@NoraAli0235 Should I try the maker's support channel as well? Checking with engineering is all I'm getting from the seller.

Try a contact you can verify through the maker's published information. Ask whether they can identify the document; don't assume that means they'll take over seller support.

@ImranCarter1001 Because the equipment labels match your order, the wrong manual seems to be the issue. Request the configuration guide that belongs with the package you received.

Maybe. But matching labels don't prove the interface is right. That configuration still needs confirming.

@SamAli0246 Agreed, my wording was too definite. The request should cover the hardware configuration as well as the matching document, not merely a replacement file.

@NoraAli0235 Right robot model, wrong controller guide? Is that possible?

A matching robot name doesn't confirm every diagram. The document also needs to cover the controller and configuration shown by your equipment identifiers.

@NoraAli0235 That's my gap. The labels are readable, but nothing in the file ties that connection drawing to our controller.
