I have a photo of our FR5 crate beside a loading bay, but neither freight office recognises the number stencilled on it. The seller calls that number the shipment reference. One agent wants a booking number; the other wants a warehouse receipt.
We were going to use this for inspection-fixture loading, and I have people asking when to reserve space. I cannot even tell them which country the crate is in. Has anyone managed to untangle this without becoming the messenger between three inboxes?
Does your purchase include delivery to the sea agent, or did you appoint the local collector separately? That changes who needs to chase the missing handover.
We kept a teaching bay empty for an expected delivery once. It became a very expensive place to store a broom. Eventually we gave the bay back and waited for a proper arrival notice before rearranging people. I would do that sooner next time.
We have released the space. Ella, the seller arranged collection and delivery to the sea agent under our order. We did not appoint that collector. Purchasing has taken over the chase, thankfully.
Might be worth asking whether the crate was relabelled at collection. I don't know their freight system, but the number on the wood may never reach the second office
Collection firm replied. They say they delivered three crates under one receipt, with ours listed by gross weight only. Purchasing asked them to identify which receipt line belongs to our order. The seller has not helped with that yet.
Three crates from the same seller? The seller's packing list may have the individual weights and dimensions needed to link them, if the collector omitted the markings.
Yes, all from this seller. They have provided a packing list now. Two lines have identical weights, so purchasing is asking for receiving photographs rather than choosing whichever line seems likely.
Jamie must be thinking of another order; I didn't list our package contents here. Our packing list puts the controller accessories inside the main crate. Noah, the agent agreed to search the photos, but we have not received them. Still no location I can give the workshop.
