I've our Universal Robots UR5e delivery from an unnamed seller in China, and its outside labels agree with what we ordered for transferring fixture samples. The supplied guide doesn't match the connections around the controller connection panel.
I've waited 9 days for useful clarification and haven't powered the setup.
I work at a small assembly test station, if that helps put the setup in context.
@ZaraBarnes0569 Does your message include both equipment identifiers, a connection photo, and the guide page? Those give support a specific mismatch to find.
I've got both identifiers and a photo of the controller connection panel. The drawing's visibly different. Even the filename gives me no controller configuration to go on.
Put those together in a short request for the applicable document and confirmation of its configuration. Keep the setup off while connection identity is uncertain.
@ZaraBarnes0569 Try a contact you can verify through the maker's published information. Ask whether they can identify the document; don't assume that means they'll take over seller support.
@OwenBrooks0834 The robot name alone isn't enough to establish that a connection diagram applies. Check the guide's stated controller and configuration scope against your labels.
@ZaraBarnes0569 On my own setup, a clear page reference got a better answer than 'manual wrong'. Support could respond to one diagram instead of guessing which section i meant.
Ask them to establish which configuration they're addressing. A casual direction to a socket doesn't resolve whether the instruction belongs to your hardware.
Yes. You need a verifiable document that actually covers the configuration. Visual resemblance alone doesn't establish how the connections should be made.
@TobyBrown0927 Setup assistance is included in our quote. This is a request about their supplied connections, not a new application design, so the lack of an answer is frustrating.
