Our FR5 arm crate arrived from China, but its separately identified controller crate has not. Consolidated freight says delivered; the receipt counts are confusing. Forty days of enquiries have not traced that crate for our sample-fixture setup.
What does the receipt count: crates, pallets, or packages without a definition? Ask receiving what they physically accepted against the crate identifiers.
Receiving confirms one wrapped handling unit and the arm crate inside it. The count field never says whether it means handling units or individual crates. I have requested the consolidation and breakdown records against both identifiers.
Ask each custodian to state the last recorded handover for the controller identifier. Don't let the ambiguous total become proof they handed over that particular crate.
