I'd include the actual door stop position in that view. We had a drawing with a door further open than its installed travel allowed.

Aaron, was that visible on the machine drawing or did someone have to measure it? We tend to receive the nice outline first.

Our outline has no stop detail either, so I have asked the machine supplier for that position and the tool designer for the held-blank envelope

Rachel, measured against the installed stop with the machine team. The old drawing wasn't wrong for its revision; it just wasn't our installation.

The combined side view is back, and the held blank clears but a fitting on the gripper occupies the door frame on withdrawal

That fitting is an expensive omission from a reach circle. Has the tool designer offered another arrangement, or is this still the only one under review?

Only this arrangement so far. Thanks Aaron for the door-stop point; the supplier confirmed the installed position before we compared it, so at least that part is no longer guessed

Glad that helped. I'd take the clash back to both designers before moving the base on paper. A moved base would need another complete access check.
