I need region-level evidence behind our FR5 cover scratch labels

I want the physical judgement tied to actual surface regions, not a whole-cover label from one bright line. My FR5 polished-cover images show streaks moving with presentation. How should we establish references before tuning this uncommissioned station?

Keep each physical cover identified and have the appearance owner judge the disputed regions under the required viewing conditions. Link those decisions to images without treating a moving streak as proof either way.

Quality has judged the retained covers. One has an acceptable bright finish region and a separate rejected edge mark. The original scratch caption pointed at the acceptable region, so it was misleading twice.

Keep both region decisions with that cover. Next compare whether the edge mark remains visible through the intended presentation range, while the accepted finish does not become a false reject.

We have corrected the reference map, but the edge mark is obscured in one existing view. Imaging owner is comparing coverage before threshold work. The physical label problem is settled for these covers, not the camera arrangement.

Does that obscured view lose the edge geometrically, or wash it out in brightness? Worth separating before changing the holder and lighting together.
