Brass blank stick-out with no blank lengths recorded

We checked hand-loaded brass sleeve blanks while planning FR10 lathe loading. Stick-out varies, and now the loader is being questioned before it exists. The sheet has no individual blank lengths or end-face notes. What should the machinist and inspection compare before this becomes an automation fault?

Identify the blanks and measure their relevant lengths and end condition against the drawing. Then compare repeated seating of the same blank using one agreed measurement reference. Keep between-blank differences separate from repeat variation, and have the machinist check the stop and seating contacts if the same blank changes position. Automatic loading should remain outside that investigation until authorised.
