I followed the old bracket route and found a correction bench between the released failure and final pass, but our proposed FR5 instruction jumps straight over it; what are we expecting the next shift to do with a bracket that still needs that work?

Please post what the current comparison changes. You have exposed work the old instruction hid, but the useful next result is whether that work can be reduced, taught appropriately or planned honestly, not just described at greater length.
