I have the seller's claimed handover number for our FR10 package, including the controller cable. The freight agent recognises a booking under a different number but has not confirmed receipt. I've kept location unconfirmed. What connects the seller's handover claim to the agent's actual intake, rather than just connecting two booking screens?
Ask for the package marks and the collection record from the party that physically took them, then ask the agent to match those to its receipt. A booking cross-reference helps the search, but it can't tell you what arrived.
The seller supplied a collection sheet with a crate mark and two packages listed. The agent's booking is for one package. I've sent the sheet for comparison.
Keep the installation requirement as the complete identified package while that search runs. The main crate becoming located would still leave receiving and the missing accessory route to resolve before anyone treats the equipment as available.
Grace, agreed. Isabel, does the collection sheet name the destination warehouse? The agent might be looking at the intended onward warehouse while the seller means the collection depot.
Two different locations, yes. The collection sheet names a depot. The agent's booking names its consolidation warehouse. Neither has said the goods moved between them.
Exactly, Jamie. The collector has agreed to check both package marks at the depot and any onward handover. That's a search commitment, not a located shipment yet.
Please post the answer when it arrives. You've narrowed the gap to a particular custodian and two packages; another general shipped message shouldn't replace that question now.
